The Restorative Games

At football, baseball, and basketball games, God was restoring us—both individually and in our relationship. He was healing us while we simply lived our daily lives.

In the background, God was doing what only He can do: changing us at the root, replacing despair, regret, shame, and destruction with something new.

Looking back on His work in our lives gives me hope for what He can do in our nation and in the lives of others—if we are willing to change.

Change isn't easy, and I'll never pretend it is. I simply believe it's worth every hardship we endure to achieve it.
